Hi there! Hope you’ve had a terrific Monday. Enjoy your dinners if you were lucky enough to receive a delivery this weekend (and sorry about the pork for those that might have been looking forward to it – unfortunately we had to make a last minute menu change), and a huge thank you to everyone that ordered. We’ve had record numbers of families to feed the last few weeks so thank you all, and we hope you are enjoying your meals from us. Don’t forget to place your orders before midnight Wednesday to be included on this weekend’s delivery run. The menu for the month ahead is now up online for your perusal – have a look here.
There’s some firm family favourites to look forward to as the weather cools down and we get into cosy mode. My favourite time of year!
You’ll notice that there will be no deliveries over the Easter long weekend, as we’ll be eating way too many Easter buns and eggs, and the Chef will pop his feet up briefly. Apologies for any inconvenience, but we’ll see you again the following week as usual. Don’t forget to tell us if you’ll be away over the school holidays and need to hold your deliveries for awhile.
And just a gentle reminder too that Dish And Spoon works hard to reduce our environmental impact by bringing your meals in enamel bake-wear dishes that can be used over and over again, but we rely on all our customers giving us four dishes back every week, so that they can be used the following week. We are missing around fifty trays a week at the moment which is why we’ve used some cardboard boxes these last two weeks, so if you can please do a check in your freezer and make sure there are no trays hiding in there that would be a tremendous help (PS you can absolutely freeze your meals, but pop them in some of your own Tupperware containers first). Thank you so much!
